This blogging thing is one crazy thing. You may make projects for your home, yourself, your family or friends. You throw parties and find reasons to celebrate things or tell people you are thinking about them. You document it and put it out there in the world and HOPE someone finds it as inspiring/fun/educational/helpful as you do. Then you get an email, or get tagged on social media and your day is totally made.
Today is one of my favorite posts of the year as it’s a full post dedicated to YOU! Thank to to all of those who send me those emails or tag me when you create something I had originally made or designed. Check out the below Reader’s submissions for 2017!
Reader’s Submissions:
A few years back I shared my Year of Date Nights gift I created with a group of bridesmaids for my bestie Allie’s bridal shower. In June I shared Liz’s version that she and her godson made for his brother and his soon-to-be bride. Check out their version of the gift that keeps on giving!
While this post did not go live in 2017, I didn’t discover it until early this year. I’m so excited to see others using my free templates to create their own Under the Sea quiet book for their kids! Funny enough this one was also not an English speaking post, as was last year’s feature. Happy to see it going international!
I did get a sweet email from Filipa who shared her pages from my Under the Sea quiet book. I love to see how people use the concepts and make it their own! Great job Filipa!
Laura is a previous coworker who has an even BIGGER love of spreadsheets than me! She’s a hands on crafty mom who also owns an Etsy shop where she sells adorable printables for kids. Back in July she saw my instagram post sharing this DIY lollipop stand at a unicorn party I styled and she quickly whipped up her own for her daughter’s unicorn party a few weeks later!
Check out cute little Ellie and her snowman doughnut snacks made using my free printables!
Sandy J emailed me asking for extra details on the Lottery Ticket Wreath I had made as she planned to make it with PA lottery tickets. Look how great it turned out! Hope whoever gets it wins the big jackpot!
In November I shared this new Lottery Ticket cake gift basket idea complete with a free printable tag and I was SO EXCITED to be tagged on an IG story by Kat_KeepingTabs who shared that she made her own version as a holiday gift!
Thank you again to anyone who tags me in photos or emails me saying they tried something seen on the blog! It makes my day every time!
