October is such a fun month for creative folks! You see all different designs of front porch decorations, unique handmade costumes coming up to your front door trick or treating and fun decorated pumpkins in all the contests and showcases! See how you can take 2 pumpkins and a bag of fluffy Poly-Fil Polyester Fiber Fill to create a delicious looking ice cream cone!

Yes, just like I previously shared in my faux cotton candy centerpieces, you must remember the fun trick to spray paint Poly-Fil to create cloud like confections in any color palette!

Ice Cream Cone Decorate Pumpkin Supplies:
- 1 large and 1 small Pumpkin (I used fake here)
- Poly-Fill Polyester Fiber Fill
- Bucket
- Spray Paint – White and Pink
- Acrylic Paint – Red, Brown, and White
- Pipe Cleaners
- Hot Glue

Place your large pumpkin in your bucket with the stem facing down, shape small bundles of the Poly-Fil into balls and glue them around the perimeter of your pumpkin to create the ice cream scoop effect.

Spray paint the large pumpkin and the Poly-Fil ring with pink spray paint. Lay your bucket upside down and spray paint it with a white prime paint.

Once dry, turn the bucket the regular way and paint it to look like a cone effect.
Paint the small pumpkin red to look like a cherry.

Glue the cherry pumpkin onto the ice cream scoop.
Cut piece of pip cleaners and form sprinkles shapes. Glue the sprinkles and the cherry pumpkin onto the top of the ice cream scoop pumpkin.

Use more red pipe cleaners to create a cherry stem on your cherry pumpkin.

Your decorated Ice Cream Pumpkin is complete! Enter it in a pumpkin decorating contest, add it to your “I Scream, You Scream Trunk or Treat” or put it on display on your front porch.
