This DIY Monster Truck Trophy craft can be used as a prize for a game or as a decoration at the dessert table.
DIY Monster Truck Trophy Supplies:
- Recycled Tin Cans
- Candy Tubes or hard skinny cardboard tubes
- Strong Adhesive (such as E6000)
- Gold Spray Paint
- Mini Monster Truck Toy (dollar store!)
- Small wood plaques
- Plastic bead necklaces
- Cardboard numbers
Using the E6000, adhere the materials together to create the basic trophy shape. Taller trophies can be made with the tubes to create height.
Adhere additional elements, such as plastic beads, nuts and bolds to embellish the trophies further. Allow this to dry completely.
Create a spray booth by cutting the top and 1 side of a cardboard box open. Place your trophy inside and apply several light coats of spray paint onto all sides. Allow time to dry between coats.
Once completely dry, display these DIY treasures at your monster truck dessert table.
They look great displayed behind your homemade Monster Truck cake!
Tip: include dimensional stickers or shapes of numbers on the front to create 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
Consider using these one-of-a-kind rewards for the fastest finisher, cleanest competitor, or best show of sportsmanship for your backyard game activities.
