When our Elf came to visit us at the end of December, she brought with her a fun craft for Brielle to do after her mid day nap: contact paper sun catchers! That crafty elf brought some precut mitten outlined shapes, a stack of small tissue paper pieces in wintry colors and some pieces of Con-Tact Liner at the ready! That crafty elf is so smart!
Brielle got to work laying down her mitten outline on an open faced piece of contact paper and her area was ready to decorate.
Slowly she worked to add pieces of these color tissue papers, overlapping them for fun, colorful effects!
Once full complete, we added a second piece of sticky contact paper on top to seal the design. Then carefully cut around our shape and voila, we had a mitten!
She was SO proud of her mitten and wanted to immediately hang in it up on the window. Think we’ll be doing many more of these in the future!
