This past December our Elf brought us an activity to entertain our girls after naptime.

The supplies included:

  • Contact Paper
  • Painter’s Tape
  • Miscellaneous materials – in our case, our elf included tissue paper, construction paper scraps, foam snowflake stickers, and a few doilies to act as big snowflakes.

While Brielle has had her fair share of experiences in contact paper sticky wall activities , this was Hailey’s first! As the older sister, Brielle became the teacher, showing Hailey how you can touch your hand to the wall and it sticks.

And how it’s ok to rip the paper into smaller sizes or crumble it up before putting it on the sticky wall.

How you can put items up to the wall but how it’s also ok to take them down to put them in a new spot.

And how you can “swim” in all the tissue paper materials or throw them in the air like confetti.

After a while of playtime, the wall started to fill up. But the perfectionist that she is, Hailey was still inspecting her masterpiece.

And exploring the textures or rearranging the design. That my friend is the fun of a Contact paper sticky wall!
