I love your Under the Sea Quiet Book. Thank you for sharing your templates. I hope to use some of your ideas in the book I’m making for my granddaughter. I thought I might have the whale & fish puzzle pages facing each other & the puzzle pieces can be zipped up in the whale. I wasn’t sure if your Octopus page was a counting/matching page, but think I will make it to velcro or button each leg to the correct number….guess the retired teacher in me wants to make each page have as many teachable moments as possible. Perhaps that is what your page does already, but thought I’d share in case it didn’t. Love your ideas!

You’re welcome! My octopus page does include beads that correlate with each number but the Velcro or button attachment ideas sounds cute too! if you do use my templates to make a book, i’d love to feature it in my “readers feature” I’m working on for this year :)

I love this whale you made, how long is your zipper that you used? Did you sew your zipper in by hand sewing or machine? Going to make this for my Grandson for his 1 st birthday and the theme is under the sea. I am also going to use your treasure chest pattern too! Thanks so much, Joan

Hi Joan! I will check the zipper length when I get home but I did sew it and all of the book by hand! I’d love to see your finished pages when you complete it! :)
