It totally makes my day to get an email or tagged on social and see someone has recreated something I made or was inspired by a post to do their own take on one of my creations. Last December I had the great pleasure of doing my first ever Reader’s Feature! It included project photos submitted by followers and custom work projects I completed during the year. I decided to make it a yearly tradition and am so happy to be able to showcase another feature with more submissions!
READER’S SUBMISSIONS:
In February we began the process of seasonal handprint/footprint crafts. Guest poster and avid SOTD reader, Sara, created our Be Mine Valentine’s cards with her sweet little granddaughter, Harper.
In March, our handprint/footprints creations continued for Easter and some of you played along! Dayna sent me her daughter’s version via Twitter!

(Fun Fact: Dayna is my dental hygienist that told me about the wedding venue I ended up choosing for my big day since it was where she had hers! She’s a loyal SOTD follower so HI DAYNA!)
In July, I discovered this Italian blog post which created their version of my Octopus quiet book page!!! I was so honored to discover this has inspired an international follower!
Diana Elanie on Instagram tagged me with her DIY Ribbon Bouquet for her sister’s rehearsal from bridal shower ribbons! Learn how to make one here!
In October I was flattered to hear someone was making Brielle’s DIY strawberry costume for their daughter. Cindy did such a great job! Look how cute her Peyton is!
This Thanksgiving the girls created our table placecards using a fun luffa painting technique, which inspired @MrsMomNJ to create a similiar look with her kids and sponges!
In December I shared this fun snowman doughnut snack with a free printable I designed and was so excited to see it growing in popularity on Pinterest! Thanks for tagging me on this version of it used in a class holiday party!
GIFTS IN THE HOME:
Brielle and I helped paint Aimee’s little girl, Lyra, a canvas to match her jungle animal themed room.
A few days after the post went live Aimee sent me this photo of it already hanging up!
CUSTOM WORK:
Rebecca was a January 2016 bride who commissioned me to recreate my table numbers used for my wedding to match her locations and gold/coral colors.
I did and they looked BEAUTIFUL in her venue space!

They looked great there too! I was so honored that these two women (plus a few more who are getting married in 2017) liked my concept enough to have me create them for their events!
I kept getting inquiries about my counting waves canvas art turned digital print. In October I made one in a custom color and size for someone who found me on pinterest. Doesn’t it look cute in her blue and coral colored nursery? I now offer this option for your nursery!
