This is one of my favorite posts of the year as its filled with things that made me smile! It seriously makes my day to be tagged on social or receive an email from a follower who is enjoying something seen on my blog’s page. Whether it’s a kids craft they’re trying out, a free printable they used as a gift or they made something for their child’s party, I can’t get enough!
This year was a bit different as some of the submissions in this Reader’s Feature are from people who purchased items from my Etsy shop! I can tell you from personal experience that you make small business owners happy every time you leave a review, give a follow up message on the reaction of a gift you custom created or tag them in a photo of custom art hung in their home. I encourage everyone to go ahead and follow up with all those small shops you purchased from this holiday season and make their day as well!
Now without further ado, check out the 2018 Reader’s Feature Submissions as shared by you!
Reader’s Submissions:
In January I showed off my Christmas card flip books on Instagram stories and polled my followers if they’d want the tutorial as a blog post and got an overwhelming “yes.” A few weeks later it went live then I got emails from Sara (a loyal follower who has not only been a past Reader’s feature submission but has also guest posted) and Debbie showcasing their flipbooks!
My oldest nephew finally lost his first tooth and proudly added it to the tooth fairy pillow I created him for Christmas last year! My sister sent me this photo letting my mom and I know about this big milestone!
Kelly shared these beautiful shots of my Moana party printables she used at her daughter’s 3rd birthday party!
Last year I created these pretty watermelon canvases which I used for their birthday party. This summer I discovered people were adding pictures to the “tried it” section of pinterest and soon I got a tag from Friends Art Lab and how they did it with the kids and it totally made my day!
Shortly after sharing my “Orange you glad it’s summer” tags, I got tagged by Mrs_Cuevas on instagram where she used them for cute end of the school year gifts!
My bestie and SOTD contributor, Allie, saw this String Art Skull I was commissioned to make for Wholesale Party Supplies and quickly made her own to add to her Halloween decoration collection!
Custom Work:
Last summer I created another set of my Destination Table Numbers (now an offering in my Etsy shop) for Lindsay and John. She later sent me these photos showcasing them in use on her big day!

Stacy sent me a few photos of her destination table numbers that perfectly matched her travel themed wedding!
Maggi sent me these photos of my Count the Waves print done in custom colors for her ADORABLE mermaid themed nursery!
And Betsy sent me these photos of her the same print, done in custom colors matching her aqua and coral colored nursery! I LOVE seeing these hung in someone’s home!
I was happy to have helped lots of people gift their moms and mother-in-laws a digital silhouette portrait gift of the kids in their family this Mother’s Day and Christmas. I was honored when Kyle got in touch with me to do my largest family design to date with 17 kids! It was framed as an anniversary gift given over Thanksgiving and I think it turned out great! Thank you to everyone who has since posted a review with a photo of theirs or sent it to me directly to see! I love seeing how differently they are all framed!
And THANK YOU again to each person who tagged me on social media that they created one of my items or who allowed me to be part of their special day with a custom design! I have had nothing but great clients thus far and look forward to making something special for many more!
