This year my birthday twins celebrated their 9th and 11th birthdays at the ink rink! While I could certainly have played up the ice skating theme in the cake topper, I instead decided to go with the still popular and always colorful rainbow theme!
Rainbow Birthday Cake Topper Supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- Rainbow Birthday Cake Topper SVG Cut File
- Cardstock – white, black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple
- Adhesive – 3d foam squares and ZIG 2 way glue
- 2 Lollipop Sticks
- Tweezer
First, cut all the pieces on your Cricut machine. This SVG cut file includes ALL letters to spell whatever the birthday child’s name is, as well as, ages 1 – 13 so you can personalize it for your birthday guest of honor.
This design includes an instructional pdf file that will explain how to easily assemble the design and where dimensional adhesive is best used to make it pop!
I added cake pop sticks on the back so they could easily be added into the cake on the party day.
This rainbow design was kid approved x 2!
Each girl got to design their own sheet cake (from Shoprite!) and we stuck the rainbow cake topper in at party time. I’m proud to say it got a few “ohhs” of excitement from their friends when we brought the cakes out after pizza.
We ended the party with our thanks and goodbyes and let each guest take home one of these flower claw clips that we displayed in my cardstock flower holder design. Learn more about that svg cut file turned party favor here!
