This is a quick and easy dessert that’s fast to prepare, but does take a bit of time to set so plan ahead! It’s great as a summertime dessert, especially since Cool Whip seems to be on sale during these months! (recipe from Oreo pie crust package)
PS did you know Oreo is celebrating 100 years this year?
Supplies:
- Oreo pre-made pie crust
- 2 (4 oz) boxes Vanilla Pudding
- 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip
- 2 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 small package Oreo cookies
Step 1. Pour 2 1/2 cups cold milk into a mixing bowl. Add 2 packages of dry pudding mix. DO NOT follow the directions on the box of pudding in relation to the milk ratio. Beat with a wire whisk for 2 minutes or until well blended.
Step 2. Stir in half of the whipped topping.
Step 3. Pour into the pie crust. The directions say to refrigerate for “4 hours or until set”, but honestly I think it tastes better with even more time. I made the pie the night before we plan to eat it so it’s nice and set the next day.
Step 4. Right before serving, add the remaining whipped topping on top. Cut cookies in half and add on top to garnish. Cut and serve!
Happy 100th Birthday OREO!

Break up 1 to 1/2 cups of cookies into the pie filling. Delicious!

Great idea! The more cookies the better, right?
