I’ve been wanting to try the rolled paper flower technique for a while now and am happy that I finally found the perfect time to give it a whirl!

Supplies:
- Cardstock (Dark Pink, Light Pink, Gold, and Green)
- Lollipop sticks
- Hot Glue
- Tweezers
- ZIG Glue pen
- Cricut Maker
- Baby Shower Topper SVG file

Cut out all the pieces with your Cricut. I used my Maker machine, but you can also use an Explore Air 2.

I used a gold foil to give some nice shimmer. Tip: The spatula helps slide all these pieces easily off the mat after you cut it.

Use the tweezers to grab the edge of the paper flower. Roll it tightly towards the center.

Let it unroll slightly to the size you desire. Flip it over and add hot glue in the center then press the little flap down to secure.

Flip back over and roll the petals outward slightly to create the flower shape.

Use the ZIG glue pen to adhere the “sweet baby” gold cutout onto the light pink cardstock. Adhere the leaves and pink flowers, as shown.

Flip over and adhere the lollipop sticks on the bottom using hot glue.

Insert the cake topper into a store bought or home made cake for the perfect baby shower party accessory!

This cake and the DIY paper crafted cake topper stood as a centerpiece for a floral baby shower paper I styled for Birthday in a Box.
