Gnome Fabric Doorstop Supplies:
- Poly-Fil Fiber Fill
- Poly-Pellets
- Gnome Template
- (2) Fleece Fabric
- (1) Flurry Fabric for his beard
- Fabric Scissors
- Wooden Bead
- Hot Glue

First, print out the template and cut out each of the three shapes. Follow the instructions to cut out (2) pieces for the gnome body (2) for the gnome hat from fleece materials and (1) for the gnome beard from a furry material.

Next turn the body pieces right side in and the hat pieces right side in. Sew around the body pieces, leaving a small gap for a later step. Sew just the two long sides of the triangle and leave the bottom open.

Keeping the gnome body with the right sides in, pull the two pieces apart and flatten the pieces. Sew the corners to create a gusseted bottom.

Turn the shape right side out and fill it with Poly-Pellets using the easy to pour spout.

Poly-Pellets are non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, washable, and made in the USA and are easy to pour into fabric shapes to give it weight. Once it’s filled to your liking, sew the opening closed to keep all those weighted beads in.

Turn the hat right side out and fill with some Poly-Fil to give it some shape.

Use hot glue to adhere the beard onto the front of the gnome body, then the nose and add the hat on top. Use more hot glue to secure this in place.

Now this short stature forest fella is ready to guard your door and keep it open for as long you need, thanks to the Poly-Pellets that keep it standing up on the job. Check this assembling done in video form on my instagram reel!

I just might be bringing this idea back around for the holiday season as these would also make the cutest shelf sitters for Christmas with some red and green plaid fabric!
