Easter is a spring holiday and a perfect time to fill your tween girl’s basket with accessories for the upcoming season! Check out what I put in the Easter baskets for my tween girls who are 8 and 10 this year.

If you’re new here you might not be aware of my 2 Easter basket rules (that apply to Christmas stockings too): It has to fit inside and I use the same basket year after year!
When my oldest was a toddler I got her this large square shaped Easter basket that has been going strong for years with plenty of room to stuff it with goodies for her age.
Now that we’re in tween ages, she and her sister’s Easter baskets are filled with a lot more accessories than toys, but it’s always in need for the upcoming spring/summer seasons. Here’s what I added this year:
- Bathing Suit Cover up – love these terry cloth ones from Kohls that are like wearing a beach towel!
- Flip Flops – always included in our Easter baskets as they need new ones every year!
- Romper from Old Navy
- Athletic pants – Great for the transition from winter to spring sports for practices
- Activity Book – Spotted these multi puzzle books at FiveBelow
- Mini Games – Dollar Tree had these mini games in their easter basket section, perfect for sideline sisters at sports games!
- Owala Stainless Steel Water Bottle – We’re not Stanley people but we like these 16oz bottles from Target that are leakproof and keep your drinks cool all school day long.
- Chapstick holder keychain – I spotted these colorful chapstick holders on Amazon and look forward to personalizing them with some iron on vinyl after they were gifted. I included a 3 pack of new chapsticks as tween girls can never have enough!
- Hair ties – Found these Scrunci ones at Dollar Tree that hold their fine hair for pony tails
- Candies – Chocolate bunny, of course, and ring pops from Target to hopefully entertain them on our upcoming road trip!
This year I plan to hide their baskets, write a little poem that I’ll cut up and stuff into eggs. They’ll need to find the eggs and assemble the puzzle to find their baskets.
