DIY Soccer Trophy Cupcakes - Spot of Tea Designs

DIY Soccer Trophy Cupcake Supplies:

Plastic Wine Goblet Cups
Wood Blocks
Hot Glue
Cardstock – gold
Spray Paint – gold
Trophy handles SVG Cut File
Cricut Maker
Painter’s tape
Paper towels
Optional: personalized soccer sticker
Cupcakes – Use Wilton Tip 233 to create the grassy icing!
Candies of choice

Attach the wine goblets to the wood blocks using hot glue.

Stuff the cup with paper towels and apply painter’s tape around the rim and over the paper towels to prevent any spray from getting inside.

Spray paint the whole outer surface of the cup and wood block with light layers of gold spray paint.

Once dry, peel the painter’s tape and remove the paper towels. Upload the Trophy Handle SVG cut file to your Cricut Design Space and cut two handles per trophy. Fold both ends of the handles slightly and use hot glue to attach to the plastic cup, as shown.

On party day, place some of your favorite candy inside the cup. I used coordinating jelly beans.

If desired, personalize these DIY soccer trophy cupcake holders for the birthday boy or girl using personalized stickers. Tip: To help adhere this more flat on the cup, cut slits around the outside of the sticker and smooth down pieces as you go around the circular shape.
