The red, white and blue patriotic party season is upon us! Whether you’re hosting a Memorial Day picnic, 4th of July blowout or regular old red, white and blue celebration, go old school and throw a vintage patriotic party! Check out these patriotic party printables you can use to decorate your dessert table!

Like any party, the invitation is the first hint to reveal the party theme!

In this case, a vintage patriotic inspired theme hits you from the second you receive that kraft colored envelope! (I have not yet put any invitations in my Etsy shop but if you’re interested in this invitation customized for your party, please email me to discuss!)

This red, white and blue shindig needs an old school USA banner proudly displayed. Download this freebie for your party! PS long time followers may recognize that red chicken wire frame. I DIYed it and use it to display our Christmas cards each year!

Now comes the best part of the party – the desserts!

I have yet to try the “pull apart cupcake cake” thing but it’s on my to do list! This flag setup was easy to put together with some colored frosting and marshmallows for stars and stripes.

Guests can literally OOOHH and AAAHH over these fireworks themed cupcake toppers available for free download.

They also look good in layered jello! This was one of the 40 Before Forty new recipes I tried and am happy to report turned out as planned! You can find the recipe here!

If you’re throwing a big party, consider this all hands on deck activity to make a handprint flag!

Download the free printable for this “Make your mark” sign at the activity station.

Don’t forget to dress up your fireworks too! This simple sparklers station is just a floral foam block wrapped in kraft paper. The sparklers are slipped into sparklers favor tags but you could also swap them out for glow sticks for the younger kids!
