No doubt in your collection of paper scraps are a mix of textures and patterns. Choose a color palette and pull out those scraps for this Use Your Stash challenge. In my case, I went with the greens and blues that are overflowing in my scrap basket and turned them into these guys. Yep, four new birthday cards emerged from my random collection of scrap papers.
Here’s a close up of one card that also shows the mixture of texture you can create. The green paper in the background had an embossed pattern on top. I took a nail file and scratched the surface to create these rough textured look you see here. These cards seen on these pennant cards and these other birthday designs, also show off my way of using holiday stickers for non holiday uses. These are an older K&Company line of Halloween products that go along well with this Hero Arts stamped phrase for new birthday themed designs. Sure if you look closely you’ll notice this is a Frankenstein design, but did you notice that without me telling you to look for the bolts?
I also need to give a shout out of my friend Mary who gave me the adorable office clips I used to stage these shots. :)
