When my sister-in-law asked if I would make my oldest niece a unicorn birthday girl t-shirt for her birthday, I immediately said yes! I’ve been wanting to perfect for a unicorn design and am always happy to make t-shirts for friends and family. I also knew I wanted to perfect my multi colored , multi layer design process so I was up for the challenge!

You are welcome to download this unicorn birthday girl svg file for free for your birthday girl creation needs! I created this floral crown filled, fluttering eyed unicorn design by grouping the pieces by color so it’s easier to lay it all down to adhere. The coral pink in the file is one I meant for glitter for a nice pop in this design!

Tip: I also used a variety of vinyl pieces that were previously used so laying them out on the floor in the orientation and order they need to be cut really helps me keep everything in order when adding to the mats.

Typically I HATE wasting vinyl and usually move pieces as tight as I can to use my vinyl efficiently, but this design is so intricate that it really helped to keep the parts in place. Sigh.

I cut this design with my Cricut Maker but could easily be done with an Explore Air 2! To adhere I laid my shirt out on my EasyPress mat and pressed it for a few seconds to warm it up.

Here’s the order I layered this design: White and black, teal, light pink, dark pink, purple and glitter. The floral crown and horn of the design are all knocked out so there is no overlap in the pieces, while the layered are actually layered for a little depth.

Together I think this multi color design came out great and even have 2 more requests for more from my own girls! I will most likely make them as a set without the birthday girl section so they can wear it any day!

Luckily we have plenty of unicorn skirts, headbands and sparkly accessories to pair with this special sparkly design!

The birthday girl loved it!
