Transportation Themed Playroom Reveal (GUEST POST) + GIVEAWAY (CLOSED)

Home Decor & Landscaping, Office

DISCLOSURE: My blog contributor was compensated with a product sample by Name Bubbles for this post, but the opinions are all those of this blog and not that of the company! We personally LOVE their labels and have been using them on many of our products for years, so testing out their wall decals was a no brainer! In addition, affiliate links may be used within the post. Know that Spotofteadesigns.com only promotes products which have been personally tested and ones we’d stand behind. To learn more, please review my disclosure policy here.

If you’re a fellow #boymom looking for cute playroom inspiration, than look no further than today’s guest post from SOTD Contributor and my bestie, Allie, and her transportation themed playroom! If you’re looking for any resources of items shown for this place, please scroll down and check out the resources section.

Transportation Themeds Boys Playroom - featuring wall decal from @namebubbles | spotofteadesigns.com

Allie’s family recently moved and she’s been having fun decorating, organizing and making this house a home for her family of four (plus one fur baby).

Since her oldest is all boy – loving everything that gets you from here to there, and chances are her youngest is bound to grow up with this love too, she created a super cute transportation themed playroom for their enjoyment!

While the room is packed with plenty of new or hand me down toys from older cousins, there still plenty of room to play. Front and center you’ll find the toddler boy staple – a train table! When her oldest is not in the mood to cruise up and down the rails, he can check out the assortment of play houses stacked up on the bookshelf or cook up something fun in his play kitchen.

Did catch of a glimpse of the fun triangle print rug down below? The pattern is so fun! She does make note that it does shed slightly and isn’t the softest material she’d prefer, but still loves it in this space.

This crafty momma made sure to include a space for the boys to create, with a fun IKEA hack of a spice rack turned bookshelf!

This curtain wire turned art display is the perfect place to show off all their handmade creations!

Allie also did a great job decorating the blank wall space above her storage units. She repurposed the adorable transportation themed banner from the birthday party as a decorative element in this play space.

On the adjacent wall above the kitchen set and other toy storage unit is the super cute Just Plane Cute personalized wall decals from Name Bubbles!

Personalized #nursery element: @NameBubbles Letter Wall Decal - repositionable and removeable! | spotofteadesigns.com

Allie had previously hung one of their initial wall decals in her son’s nursery at their last house and happily jumped at the chance to add another personalized addition to her new home. Since they are removable and reusable she was able to remove it and hang it up in his new room!

This Just Plane Cute set comes with all three planes, the flying banner and a large collection of clouds. Choosing to use their last name to brand the room and not the boys’ first names left them plenty of room for new additions, in case their family chooses that route. #smartmom
