The little boy in your life will love all the trucks, planes and train icons shown in this transportation birthday party thrown outdoors!
A little over two years ago, I shared this fun transportation themed baby shower. Well that adorable boy made his appearance and totally brightened her world. He just recently celebrated his second birthday and Allie (who’s literally reading this with a brand new baby in tow) created a super cute transportation themed birthday party in his honor! I’m so happy to share her ALWAYS ADORABLE coordinated party details here!
With a theme like transportation, road signs were a décor staple seen throughout. She made them fit the birthday theme staging them near specifically activities or actions. Exit 2 for the back gate, Baggage claim near the favor station, gift dump near the gift area — so incredibly cute!
She used her Cricut machines for all these adorable designs.
What’s the best, budget friendly prop to use for parties? Things you already have in your home! His toy trucks and cars made the perfect complements to Allie’s adorable décor with some high flying balloons to make it scream “PARTY” in the backyard.
Allie’s always thinking about those “opening the present” shots (as evident from my baby shower, Sarah’s baby shower or Karen’s baby shower).
She created this string of just about any form of transportation that flies high or goes low to hang behind her “Gift Dump. ”
And once again a toy from their collection was staged next to this section for more fun!
When it came to chowing down, everyone had to “yield for snacks” when stepping up to this coordinated food table!
She created DIY fruit appetizer named “tow trucks,” cheese, meats and veggies trays. Don’t forget to watch out for the DIP or “Rough road ahead” warnings!
The dessert table did not disappoint either. Among the shaped sugar cookies, a plate of Oreos became spare tires and jello station named “stoplights” was arranged in red, yellow and green order. And did you see this cake? Homemade hot air balloon design for the win!
This momma has cute party decorating down to a science! :)
