Don’t forget to say THANK YOU for the special teachers and school staff members who have meant so much to your children over the past school year! Give them a special gift they can use for years to come and create a personalized slim can cozy featuring the school mascot!
At some point teachers will have received all the candles and coffee mugs their cabinets can handle so try to think outside the box and gift them something useful, but still with a personal touch!
We can all agree that teachers are people too and no doubt might enough the occasional cool beverage at the en of the school day or the weekdays. This end of the school year, I put together some “After School Snack” school mascot themed slim can cozy gifts to give Brielle’s teachers. These sleeves easily fit those fun hard seltzer drinks everyone’s been enjoying lately!
I grabbed these blue metallic slim can cozy sleeves from Amazon and was able to add my custom design cut on white HTV cut with my Cricut Maker and sealed on with my small Heat Press. It’s rare that I get to break out the mini heat press but so worth it to make a quick project!
I found that 280 degrees for 20 second was the prefect setting to heat the design on these neoprene slim can cozy sleeves. They make them in other colors to hopefully match your school colors:
- Blue Slim Can Cozy 6 count
- Red Slim Can Cozy 6 count
- Purple Slim Can Cozy 6 count
- Gold Slim Can Cozy 6 count
- Black Slim Can Cozy 6 count
- Green Slim Can Cozy 6 count
I found these cute apple tins at Target last fall that made the perfect container. Inside I added a gift card to Panera, the fill in the blank teacher appreciation card Brielle filled out, these slim can cozy sleeves and a hand written note by me. I added these apple tags to the front to complete the gift and make sure I knew who’s gift was who’s.
And because us moms were pretty much teachers these last through months with all the remote learning, I made a special set for my foursome of mom friends (which Derek has named “Mom squad”), hoping we can all enjoy a drink together using them this summer!
