The goomba mushroom-like character is such an iconic character in the Nintento game series. emoji! Instead of having it crawling along the floor, I put mine front and center on the dessert table.

DIY Goomba Pinata Supplies:
- Emoji Poop Pinata
- Crepe Streamers – White, brown
- Goomba face printable template
- Cardboard
- Cardstock – brown
- Masking Tape
- Zip tie
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue stick
- Chalk

First, remove the majority of the poop emoji printed paper covering the top. Next use chalk to draw a curved shape on the top acting as a guide to remove the pointed feature.
Use scissors to cut along this line on one side. You will push this flap down inside the piñata to make it more of a flat shape. Tip: save any of the piñata covering pieces you can to help hide your new hole.
Punch two holes at the top and insert a zip tie in as the new hanger. Use hot glue to close the flap and the extra piñata pieces to hide this hole.

Next we’ll need to create the Goomba body and feet. Lay your pinata on the cardboard and use chalk to draw the shapes.

Cut out (2) of these leg shapes plus extra pieces of 2” wide rectangles.

Using masking tape, adhere the rectangular pieces around the sides and bottom of the Goomba feet shape. Tip: keep 2 flaps on the top to help secure at a later step.

Tape the other piece on top to complete the bottom half of the goomba pinata.

Cut a hole on the bottom of the piñata the size of the Goomba feet shape that was just created.
Fill the pinata with candy or little toys then insert the Goomba feet in with the flaps going out on both side. Secure with hot glue.

Cover the body area with white crepe streamers. Create small fringe piece of crepe streamers to cover.

Starting at the bottom, layer the fringe pieces on top of one another to cover.

Cover the feet area with brown crepe streamers then create the brown fringe layers to cover, like you did for the body above.

Cut out the Goomba face printable shapes and use a glue stick to adhere onto the brown cardstock head.

Your Goomba piñata upgrade is now complete! Display it on your Super Mario Party dessert table then hang it up and watch the fun begin!
