The everyday photos of kids hanging out around the house doing their daily routine or being silly are great, but consider throwing some photoshoots at home around seasonal holidays to take advantage of all the holiday goodies out there! Here’s one sweet and simple St Patrick’s Day photoshoot you can try at home with your toddlers!

Among the few part time jobs I have, being a contributor for a party supply company is one of my favorites.
I recently was assigned a St. Patrick’s Day party and had so much fun shopping their site for the perfect party materials, playing around with my home accessories to stage it, and putting together a fun party setup for a St. Patrick’s Day pre-parade breakfast party.
Gotta love all the gold and green!
But meanwhile after I put away the majority of the party setup, all that remained was the gold metallic curtain and some paper fans. Insert two active toddlers who wished to play with the party props and we had ourselves a fun photoshoot. Hailey’s shirt was one I made using iron on letters back when Brielle was little (and she never got to wear!) and Brielle’s shirt is one I got for less than $5!
Fun hats? Check!
Fun photo props on a stick? You bet cha!
A silly toddler that doesn’t know how to use them properly? Oh yeah!
A big urge to play with the metallic curtain? OF COURSE!
A few lucky captures of two girls on their half birthday? PRICELESS!
