Our school doesn’t allow candy or edible items for Valentine’s Day so I surfed around for some gift ideas on Oriental Trading waiting to be inspired. And I was once spotting this Smart Cookie pencil and eraser set! They came in red, yellow and blue, which are perfectly primary colors for any kid in the class.
I grab a few sets (which I ordered with a free shipping promo) and I whipped up these Smart Cookie printable pencil holders to pair with them.
The printable features a chocolate chip cookie wearing glasses. The chocolate chips are hearts! There’s room for your child to sign it under the “You’re a smart cookie” phrase and dotted lines to slide the pencil through.
Hailey was able to squeeze in the first names at the top and is all ready to gift these to her classmates this Valentine’s Day. This is always my favorite photo to take every year as yes, it does show my daughter at this age and what they gifted that year, but it also shows their handwriting style!
