I have always had a long commute to my jobs. In high school, the 25 minute drive to my concession stand summer job was the shortest commute I’ve had in my life. Since then, I’ve driven up and down the state of New Jersey to get to work and I’ve gotten pretty used to it. Currently my commute is a little over an hour, and since this is shorter than my last job, it’s actually not too bad!
I knew I spent a lot of time IN my car, but it wasn’t until I was flipping through my scrapbooks that I realized how much I scrapbook about them. Maybe one of these layouts will inspire you to include your transportation mode of choice within your books.
First Snow (2006)
Who doesn’t like to see babies or puppies and the first snowfall. Why not a car?

Crash (2008)
I wasn’t even IN my car when it was hit. In fact, it was parked. Just a case of not paying attention when parking I guess. But since I documented this occurence for insurance purposes, might as well scrapbook it!

Zero (2009)
Yep. I got in my car at my parents house and the temperature listed 0 degrees, not something I typically see where I live. I thought it was funny so I grabbed a shot, which I later decided to document in my scrapbook.

Twins (2011)
For as long as I remember, I’ve always had a fascination with twins. I’ve often teased D since they run in both our families, we’re going to have them. Last November, when we cam home with our new Volkswagens, I kept saying this was our first set of fraternal twins, hence the title!
