Don’t mind me, but I’ve been really into creating cupcake toppers this year! I love how they can elevate a store bought or homemade dessert and something you can totally prep way in advance of your party day!
Retro Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Cupcake Toppers Supplies:
- Cricut (Love my Maker!)
- Cardstock – Orange, yellow, black, white
- Retro Halloween Jack-O-Lantern SVG cut file
- Toothpicks
- ZIG 2-Way Glue
- 3D Foam Adhesive
First, download the Halloween Jack-O-Lantern SVG and upload it to Cricut design space. The cupcake toppers seen in these post are all 2.5″ wide.
This retro pumpkin design is built out of 4 layers, with a slight shadow effect to create the glowing inside.
I’ve also created an instructions file which shows the order to assemble, but I chose to add a foam adhesive in between the yellow and black layers to create this fun dimensional effect!
This retro Halloween pumpkin design looks adorable as a cupcake topper but would also be so cute on a t-shirt, don’t you think?
Add these toppers to store bought or homemade cupcakes to dress them up a notch! These were homemade (yep, from a box!) dressed up with a Wilton #21 tip and some VooDoo sprinkles set from Sweetapolita!
These retro Halloween jack-o-lantern cupcake toppers pair perfectly with my other Halloween paper crafted designs! Check out the 3D Witch hat toppers and witch legs designs too!
