Have you noticed this trend in seasonal candy lately to not only have seasonal colors, but also flavors? And I’m not talking about only pumpkin spice in fall but Peeps of all flavors, M&Ms is constantly releasing new things to try and candy canes are hitting all the fruit flavors in December.
You may remember my candy cane taste test that became popular in December. I decided to de-holidayized it so that it could be used year round for a tasty game!
Just like my other version, this candy taste test includes three printable sheets for both the host and the players.
The host will set up candy flights for each player and fill out the master key to keep track of which flavors are which. Each player will taste the candies and fill out their guess on the coordinating lines of the score sheet. They are able to take a guess at the flavor and also rate their tasting experience from 1 to 5 chocolate chips.
M&Ms are a great place to start for this candy taste test as they are small and already come in mini small tastes. Besides the traditional milk chocolate, peanut or almond flavors, you can easily find peanut butter or pretzel in your candy aisle. Or take a stroll down your seasonal candy aisle, like I did, and you might find caramel, black forest cake, key lime pie or honey graham!
Check out this reel I put together on all the Peeps flavors I found this spring! If you do Peeps, you can use a serrated knife to cut cut bit sized pieces for each candy taste test participant!
