I was honored to once again style a fun party theme – a pizza party, with the cutest pizza plates around!
I loved all the table wear accessories but wanted to add a DIY element into the mix! I decided to transform these ordinary yellow cone party hats into cute pizza slices for party guests to wear and here’s how I easily did it!
First I opened up one of the yellow hats and used it as a guide to make the crusty edge. I traced the edge of the hat for the bottom edge size but then did a rough line about an inch higher to make the crust.
Next I cut out all the pizza topping shapes using my Cricut Explore Air machine. (Here’s the SVG file) If you don’t have one you can use this free printable template of the topping shapes!
Enlist the help of a toddler who loves using a glue stick and you’re golden on the next assembly step! :)
The party hats come in a pack of 8 which is perfect to make a whole pizza pie!
The hats looked super cute set out at the party table for each guest to wear.
And they looked even cuter on!
PS that pizza behind the girls is a CAKE! (chocolate shavings = cheese and red fruit leather as the pepperoni!)
