It’s summertime and the perfect season for lots of ice cold treats! To help combat the complaints of cold hands, gift kids personalized ice pop holders for the last day of school or as summer birthday party favors. See how I put these together using my Cricut Maker and EasyPress machine!

With all the coronavirus issues this year and in an attempt to keep numbers down, we decided to break down the girls’ birthday celebrations into smaller groups of friends then family. For this year’s friends party I gifted each of the kids something useful and personalized ice pop holders with their names on them as the birthday party favor. Here’s how I made them!
First I broke out my Cricut Maker and cut each of their names on white heat transfer vinyl.
I then cut around each name to separate it from a big sheet of vinyl and weeded each individually, starting with the inners then the outers. The best little gadget I’ve LOVED and have used for this process is this little handheld nail polish holder. It’s made out of a silicon rubber that you wear on your non dominate hand while weeding with the other hand like a little garbage can. Your weeding hook then can then be inserted in the hole and the vinyl scrap piece clings to the inside.
I found this 20 pack of neoprene ice pop holders on Amazon. I laid them all out and tried to planned who would be getting what color. We did several mini celebrations for the girls so the full 20 pack was used but not on one date!
To adhere, I placed the weeded vinyl name on the ice pop holder and pressed it to adhere with my EasyPress at 280 for 20 minutes.
I ended up with this colorful assortment of ice pop holders that do seem most fun together!
On the party day, I ended up offering everyone their ice pop holders and some frozen GoGurt squeeze yogurt as a hot afternoon snack and everyone was on board for this treat!
Bonus: I didn’t hear any complaints on who got what color!
A friendly reminder, of course, that these ice pop holders can hold the summer favorite snack of Fla-Vor-Ice to keep the popscicle cold and not their hands.
These personalized ice pop holders make great favors for summer parties or an end of the school year gift from a Cricut toting teacher!
