Christmas cards are a great excuse to set aside some time and capture some family photos before time slips away. Scroll on down to see the 2018 fall photos of the Nehil family!
Eight years ago today I pressed publish on my first blog post here at Spot of Tea Designs. Guys, it’s a post about paintings I made of my apartment BATHROOM! But I pressed publish as I wanted to be able to share the creative stuff I made for myself, family or friends in a digital environment and at first was pretty adamant that it wouldn’t be able my face.
Fast forward not even one year and I realized that many things were wearables or made more sense to show the personality behind the craft.
Over the years I got married, and moved into our first home.
Then baby number one came and two years to the day baby number two arrived.
In all that time of blog life, besides my wedding, I never had photos done by a hired photographer. Sure I’ve had good friends capture some shots or did all the settings on my camera and hopped in for my mom to capture a shot.
But this year, for the first time ever, our family had professional photos taken as part of a mini session!
Heather Michelle Photography captured all the smiley photos seen in this post and super excited how they came out.
I have plenty of cute photos of my kids but I’m so happy to be able to be in some too! Don’t be too surprised when you see these on our Christmas card in a few weeks!
And thanks to everyone who’s been following along the last 8 years or hopped on the train more recently. Even though the themes of my creative projects and blog posts have changed over the years, I don’t see myself stopping the creative urge anytime soon!
