List of Birthday Freebies I received through email lists, store loyalty cards, rewards programs and credit cards | spotofteadesigns.com

Two weeks ago today I celebrated my 33rd birthday. (Can’t believe it’s already been three years since my 30 Before Thirty!) As you know, I’m a big fan of rewards programs where you get benefits for following a certain brand/company or entering codes from products you already purchase. Below is a list of freebies I received on or around my birthday due to being part of rewards programs, store loyalty cards, credit cards and email newsletters. I can’t guarantee you’ll get the same freebies, of course, but it’s worth checking out if you have an interest with these companies/brands!

Auntie Anne’s – I was emailed a Free Pretzel Product with the purchase of a pretzel product coupon that expired the first of the month after my birthday since I’m on their email list!

DSW – I’m a member of their DSW Rewards program. On the 1st of the month I received a $5 off coupon to be used any time during my birthday month off my next purchase at their store.

Kellogg’s Family Rewards – I’ve been racking up these points from our cereal/frozen waffle purchases and the freebie points given out all the time but I have yet to really cash any of my points in! I love the perks that continue to come all year long, including my birthday! They emailed me a special 100 points bonus code plus $20 to spend at Shutterfly (which you know is a favorite place of mine for photos and photo gifts!) The best part about the code was that it expires January of NEXT YEAR! Woo hoo! Credits for Christmas gifts!

Kohls – I’m both a Kohls credit card member and Yes2You Rewards member. I believe as the Kohls credit card member, I was mailed a postcard with a $10 coupon to be used any way I wish in their store for the month of my birthday. But in addition, I received a $10 credit to use as I wish as a Yes2You Rewards member!

Loft – I’m a Loft credit card holder as I love their outlet store near me! I received another $15 coupon on a postcard to be used in store for the full month of my birthday!

Moe’s Southwest Grill – I signed up on their email list and received a free entrée with a purchase of a soda coupon the week before my birthday! This is one we cashed in and I got some yummy quesadillas!

Old Navy – As part of their email list, I received a 10% off no exclusions coupon which expired 14 days from the date of the email (which was sent on my birthday)

Red Lobster – Because I’m part of their email list, I received a coupon for $5 off any 2 adult entrees.

Ruby Tuesdays – Again being part of the email list has its perks! They sent me a free birthday burger about a week before the big day!

Sephora – As a Sephora Beauty Insider card holder (rewards program) I received an email telling me how to get a free gift from Nars upon checkout during my birthday month. Those sneaky Sephora marketers… having me make a purchase to get my freebie!

Unos Pizzeria & Grill – As I’m part of Uno’s Insider’s Club (email newsletter) I received a coupon for $10 off any $25 order which was good for the week before until two weeks AFTER my birthday! Finally one that didn’t need to be used on the day of!
