Guests will think they stepped into Bricksburg when checking out your faux LEGO party backdrop to create your party space! Choose whatever colors match your party tablewear or the birthday child’s favorite colors.
Lego Party Hack #1: DIY Party Backdrop! Plastic table cloths and plastic plates can easily turn your dining room walls into Bricksburg! Tip: painter’s tape is a great way to hang the plates to the wall but they may pull down your tablecloths. Instead, cut a hole in the tablecloth so the plate can be adhered directly to the wall!
Lego Party Hack #2: Spray it! If your store bought party accessories don’t match the table décor (like the blue, orange and yellow brick shaped cardboard stands seen above), break out your can of spray paint and make them match. These cardboard brick stands up work great to give some height to your party but color wise didn’t match. A few simple layers of spray paint made them fit right in.
Lego Party Hack #3: Theme it! JELLO is a colorful and delicious party dessert and with the help of these free printables, can be transformed into your favorite minifigures!
M&Ms are also the perfect size to turn a box of chocolate brownies into edible Lego bricks!
Lego Party Hack #4: Say Cheese! Use our free printables, cardboard recycled from cereal boxes and wooden dowels to create DIY photo props of lego character accessories.
Bonus: these photo prop accessories also serve as a table decor prior to your photo session!
Lego Party Hack #5: DIY Favor bags. a circle punch and dimensional adhesive squares turns a plain favor bag into a bunch of lego bricks.
With these simple hacks, no doubt you now have the building blocks to create a memorable celebration for your master builder.
