While must of the country is out enjoying their summer break for a few weeks now, us NJers are still going for a few more days! Today my girls are dropping off their teacher gifts even though their last day isn’t until Friday.
I know the gift contents themselves are not the most important part but it’s the THANKS of it all! This year, I made sure my girls got involved just as much with their teacher gift. They drew up the CUTEST little cards featuring their favorite icons, phrases the teacher might say and even highlighted their pets! These were paired with a handwritten note I wrote as the mom of the student. I think that it’s just as important to say a few nice things in addition to a physical gift.
Next, I included what is no doubt a favorite part – a Target gift card! And to dress it up a little more, I used my Thank You School Supplies Gift Card holder. Aren’t these pencil shaped gift cards the best pairing?
The girls also took care to fill out these “All About my Teacher” Printables from my friend Laura’s shop. I’ve used these for YEARS now and I know the teachers will get a kick out of them too!
To complete this teacher gift, I threw in a watermelon scented eye mask, classic bellini alcoholic drink and a pack of Milano cookies. All three of these extras, along with the Target run, are different forms of self care a teacher can enjoy this summer!
Tip: I actually found these plastic containers in the Easter section at Target so be on the lookout next year!
