As a crafter, I know how long it takes to make some handmade gifts. Items I receive need more than the few minutes of love I can give it, so I’m happy to post these Handmade with Love posts that showcase great handmade cards or gifts I have received.
A few weeks after Brielle’s first birthday she received a super adorable and educational gift in the mail from a previous Handmade With Love gifter. Elizabeth made her a set of fabric letters which fit inside a cute plastic paint can container. Brielle was immediately drawn to the gift, wanting to open and close the lid, stuffing the letters in and pulling them out. Of course at this age, it’s all about the container but in the future I’m sure she’ll love spelling things out with these soft alphabets. For more information on how to make these letters, check out Elizabeth’s blog post here.

Back when Brielle was about 6 months, SOTD contributor and my bestie, Allie, knit her a colorful winter hat. She wore it all winter last year and I was sad to have to “retire” it when she outgrew it. Luckily Allie broke out her knitting needles again and made her a new creation! Brielle loves to say “hat” and put them towards her head so hopefully she’ll start getting used to keeping a hat on!

Those letters are so cute. If I ever see my sewing machine again I will have to make them :)
