We all know you have a ton of plastic eggs in your Easter bins and now you can put them to use another time with a trick or treat filled activity. If you’ve been following me for a long time, you know that I have shared my belief that Easter Egg hunts are fun any time of the year for kids! I’ve shared it in my “10 Things to Do with A toddler in winter” post but now that we’re in these unprecedented times, it can be just as fun for these shelter mostly at home situations for kids at any age!
Supplies:
- Plastic Eggs
- Black adhesive vinyl
- Cricut Machine (Explore air 2 or Maker!)
- Halloween Egg Hunt SVG
I pulled out my orange, green and purple plastic eggs from my Easter stash to match the Halloween theme.
I was easily able to cut a cute jack o lantern face, skull face and little Halloween patterns using my Cricut maker on black adhesive vinyl. My wedding hook really helped on these small pieces. It’s part of the Cricut 5 piece tool set found in the crafting section of my Amazon shop!
A little transfer tape and my Cricut scraper helped apply these designs on my plastic eggs.
These spooky eggs are now ready for a Halloween Egg Hunt later this month! I plan to surprise the girls coming home from school one day with them already scattered in the backyard!
