Hailey’s Birth Day
Just like I had done for Brielle, Hailey was introduced to the world with a crafted garland. Since I’ve adopted this “under the sea” theme for her, I created a little name garland featuring little seahorses and other stickers to hang from her hospital crib.
I took these pieces and used them on the pages with photos from the hospital. PS moms-to-be did you know most nurses will stamp their feet for you in your baby book or papers of choice? I had the hospital nurse do these on purple cardstock for plans to include them in my book. Look at those little feet!
Besides the cute family photos, I wanted to make sure to include her birth story on this page so I sewed a pocket to include hospital mementos and her QUICK birth story from my memory and Derek’s notes.

Month 1
Month 1 was just about surviving. Not for Hailey’s health, but as a mom of two! Luckily she was a fairly good sleeper and a good eater so she kinda went with the flow when it came to helping Brielle follow her routine.
We’re continuing the tradition of wearing the monthly onesies and sitting on the pink chair in her room on her monthly birthday. Whenever Brielle isn’t in school, she will join her in this seat so we’ll be able to watch these birthday twins grow together.

Month 2
Hailey’s 2nd month home was a little more adventurous as we got out of the house a bit more, including her first trip to her Pop Pop’s brewery!
Hailey started to flash some super cute smiles and began rocking some pretty high spikey hair! Unlike Brielle, whom I commonly dressed in headbands, Hailey’s hair was so hilarious when standing straight up, that we rarely added a hair piece and let those locks stand up on end!
