In the last few years, the trend of meeting to throw Galentine’s Day celebrations has really picked up. Some think of Galentine’s Day as an anti Valentine’s Day concept, while others use it as a reason to have a girls night. When my oldest started kindergarten last year, she made some friends that she’s continued to be close with and I hope is just the beginning of a long friendship.
What’s even more special about this little clique are the parents of each of these girls. We all have different backgrounds and experiences, but also have similar parenting styles and I trust them with my kids. When it comes to raising kids it really takes a village so I’m happy to have found a group where we can rely on each other to tote around our kids, watch after each other at group events, and stay in touch with all things related to raising strong women.
I used this Valentine’s Day / Galentine’s Day season as a reason to gift a few mom squad friends with a little something I know they’ll enjoy. Now that we have a new patio to enjoy in the warm weather, I’ve been eyeing these stemless wineglasses to have for an evening drink this summer.
