Attention all moms with a preschooler or kindergartner looking for an easy activity to entertain your child this holiday season. Download this free printable that encourages alphabet and number recognition to reveal a secret message!  You only need 2 crayons to pair with this Christmas activity sheet.

For this free printable activity, your child will just need a red and green crayon to reveal a secret message. (I used a red marker here to transfer the letters for the sake of a better, darker photo!) As instructed on the printable, they will need to color all the numbers in red and the letters in green.

Next, they will transfer all the letters to the lines on the bottom lines to reveal the secret message!

If they do it right, the bottom secret message should read “Santa Claus is coming to town.” For those participating in the Elf on the Shelf phenomenon this season, this would be a great activity for their elf to leave your child in the morning.

It’s great to work on during breakfast to start their day with a little learning, some coloring and requires very little to setup from you as the parent!
