Brielle and Hailey are both in a daycare which provides their food so luckily I won’t have to pack lunches until Brielle hits kindergarten next fall. Doesn’t mean I can’t start coming with up with cute lunch ideas!
These ideas are also great for holiday parties so you can guarantee something for them to eat that isn’t covered in chocolate or sugar. These are VERY simple to make as you only need a pack of string cheese (Polly-o is always our family favorite but any brand will do) and a few fine point Sharpie markers.
Give them a lucky lunch with a little leprechaun string cheese design!
Have a big reader in your family? Pack their lunch with a Dr. Seuss themed string cheese or a beloved hungry caterpillar. Or how about a Star Wars fan?
Forget the sweets for Halloween! Consider drawing up some white string cheese characters for Halloween parties. Try your hand at vampire bats, skeleton bones, mummies, a Frankenstein or ghosts, the simplest string cheese snack of them all!
What’s great is that these string cheese characters are endless! Snowman and penguins for winter parties or white bunnies for Easter!
They can also go the other way so you can write simple “I (heart) you” type messages, draw out the digits for PI (which was this week, btw!) or some stars and stripes for a patriotic summer lunchbox.
