Check out some ideas on how to celebrate a 35th wedding anniversary at a brewery!
About a week ago I helped to celebrate a big milestone in my family’s life — my parents 35th Wedding Anniversary!

I helped gather their friends and family together at the brewery which my parents own for a run down memory lane over some craft beer! As one who styles parties and loves to participate in a themed party, I was, of course, put in charge of decorations.
Since it was held in a brewery and all things craft beer are a common theme in their life, I went with a “Cheers for 35 Years” theme!
I designed the above logo for the party and kept a silver and navy blue theme going. Wholesalepartysupplies.com, whom I have done contribution work for before, helped supply some items to dress the tables. I just love those giant silver number balloons! I kick myself for not getting a shot of my parents holding them!
The tables were dressed in silver polka tablecloths and my DIY centerpieces.
I used the paper rosette technique that you already know I love, with photos of their wedding and the party logo mixed in. Balloon weights with sparkly materials were put inside and held some blue and silver themed balloons. Love that the weights added to the centerpiece but also had a purpose!
Since their time together spanned over 35 years (dating and engaged before marriage) I thought a photo collage would be a great way to see them and their family grow. I actually didn’t get any good shots of this collage, but it seems fitting to have 4 of 5 of their grandchildren staged in front of it in the photo above!
To commemorate their big day, I also designed a few pieces of framed art that were included on the gifts table.
This heart design includes phrases, dates, big and little memories from their 35 years together. It was inspired by one I saw on Etsy (found through Google images) but used images and graphics I designed. Next to this framed piece I staged the potted plants the kids painted just a few weeks before.
The dates listed on this piece include their birthdays, wedding date, and the birthdays of both their kids and all 5 of their grandchildren. Hopefully it will help my mom remember the right dates since so many are so similar! (None can be AS similar as Hailey and Brielle’s though!)
And as I’ve done in parties and big celebrations of the past, we sent guests home with a custom beer koozie to remember their fun time celebrating Ed and Gwen!
