Here’s a list of all the birthday coupons, free offers, and discount coupons I received during my birthday month. See which stores and restaurants offered these freebies for being on their email list, in their rewards program or owning their store card.

This year I turned 42, and while not a special milestone year by any means, it was one that included a lot of gifts, from my favorite brands and stores! Some were related to rewards programs or newsletters I’m on or the store credit cards that I own. While I can’t guarantee you’ll get the same offers, it’s worth a try for these cool birthday bonuses!
See each of the restaurants and stores that gave me birthday freebies and some of the obvious “I am 42 years old” things I purchase with the open ended discounts.
- AMC Theaters – FREE TREAT! A free large popcorn coupon was emailed to me as part of their Stubs Insider rewards program.
- At Home – DISCOUNT COUPON! I’m a member of their “Insider Perks” program and received a physical 20% off my next order coupon for my birthday and an emailed 15% off coupon. These are just some examples of the many fun offers I’ve received through this program over the year, including several coupons for discounts or free products with a purchase. We used this coupon to get the new rug for our dining room as we await our new dining room set we ordered this month!
- DSW – FREE SHOPPING MONEY! As part of the DSW VIP rewards program, I received a coupon for $5 off my next order to be used online or in store. I bought new sneakers for spring!
- H&M – DISCOUNT COUPON! I received a 25% off one item coupon via email for being on their newsletter.
- Kohls – FREE SHOPPING MONEY! As a Kohls card owner, I received $10 in Kohls cash which I used to buy a new tissue box cover for our living room. Note: I was able to get my Sephora freebie through a Kohls.com order! See below for more details.
- Ikea Family – FREE SHOPPING MONEY! I received both a $10 off a $10 or more coupon for the IKEA store AND a coupon for a free piece a cake when an adult entre is purchased at Ikea restaurants. I used the coupon to purchase a new dresser for Hailey’s bedroom.
- LOFT – FREE SHOPPING MONEY! As a LOFT styleRewards member, I received a $15 reward good for the full month, with no purchase required which got me a free long sleeve shirt!
- Panera – FREE TREAT! As a MyPanera rewards member, I received a free pastry with no purchase required reward added to my account. Good for only 5 days after my birthday. I shared that chocolate candy topped cookie with the kids.
- Regal Crown Club – FREE TREAT! Free small popcorn which expired 30 days after my birthday.
- Sephora – FREE GIFT! As a Sephora Beauty Insider, I received 250 points or a free mini set, when I spend $25. I was actually able to use it for a Kohls.com order where I chose a mini lip set.
- Victoria’s Secret – FREE SHOPPING MONEY! As a VS Pink rewards members, I received $10 off my next purchase for the full month.
