I love that our Christmas tree is full of traditions and things that mean something to our family. With every vacation we go on, Derek and I pick up an ornament to add to the tree and remember that trip. We continued to add other milestone ornaments (purchased by ourselves or personalized by others), like engagements, first home and getting married.
Now that Hailey has arrived, I made sure to make her an ornament, much like Brielle’s to remember her first moments with us.
This plastic ornament is filled with all our hospital bracelets and the outside is decorated with dimensional alphabet stickers.
Hailey’s name is proudly displayed on one side of this slightly flattened ball while the other side includes the now popular date in our house.

This ornament is soo cute and such a great idea. This will year will also be my son’s 1st Christmas and we’re excited about it. Can I ask you exactly how you made this ornament?

Hi Maribell! Congrats on your new arrival! I bought one of those clear plastic ornaments from the craft store, removed the top piece and stuck my bracelets inside. I recommend looking for the ones that are somewhat flat (like Haileys) instead of the ones that are fully rounded (like I used on Brielle’s). It allowed for more of a flat front to personalize with their name/info.
If you make it, I’d love to see ad possibly include in my reader’s feature! :)
