A while back I had designed these fun Owl Gift Card Huggers for Teacher’s appreciation season. They were a hit, but like many things I design, I LOVE to see how people use them in real life!
I was happy to see a customer cut them out but instead of taping a gift card inside for the owl to hug, they added mini fun packs of candy!
Fast forward a few months and I thought these cuties would make the perfect printable for Valentine’s Day! Check out this Owl Valentine Candy Hugger printable that comes 2 to a sheet.
With just a little time spent cutting them out (I suggest a fine point pair of paper friendly scissors like those in the Cricut Basic Tool Kit). Each design offers two options of either a generic “Valentine You’re a hoot” phrase heart to add on top, or a “to/heart” if you wanted to personalize it with a message.
I learned early on that some teachers don’t want kids to add the “to” portion of the Valentine as they just drop them in their Valentine boxes and it’s a “you get what you get and you don’t get upset” mentality so I often offer this on my designs.
