It’s October and thus Halloween season! This summer I styled a few Halloween parties for WholesalePartySupplies.com, each of which included a DIY project as a party element. I love how each Halloween party came out and wanted to share them with you!

Please click on the links listed below each photo to see additional photos and instructions on how these were achieved.
Monster Mash Party – The most innocent party of the mix, this monster mash party played off familiar generic monster characters for a family friendly theme to host day or night.
Monster Table Leg – Who doesn’t want to be served at their party by a four legged monster table? Check out the link to see how easy it was to make these furry accessories for your party decor!
Disney Villains Party – Dessert only Halloween party with a deep purple and black color palette? I’m in!
DIY Magic Mirror – I found this mirror at a thrift store and was able to achieve this cool effect that made a face appear inside the mirror! Check out the post to see how easy it was to create this look which would be awesome with a super creepy photo behind!
DIY Doll Terrarium – If want to achieve a creepy look for your party but don’t want to spend a lot, this DIY project is for you! Grab a few plastic dolls from the dollar store or thrift store, acrylic paint and an assortment of glass vases, bowls or jars and you have yourself a creepy terrarium to display at the party! Check out the post to see tips and tricks to achieve this look.
Hocus Pocus Halloween Party – If you’re like me, you grew up watching the Sanderson Sisters wreck havoc on the small town in this Disney classic flick that plays in the Halloween season. I lucked upon catching it on TV the week I was planning the party and had fun reminiscing my childhood and seeing this movie through new adult eyes. (It’s cheesier than I remember which made it great!)
DIY Magic Spell Books – Dare I say it, but this was my favorite project of the bunch. It was such a cheap and easy thing to do (though I might add a bit time consuming do to the layers and dry time needed) but it makes for an ultra-authentic look when complete! I was giddy as I painted the gold accents on these and watched them come alive or rather began looking aged!
DIY Mason Jar Luminaries – You don’t have to be an artist to do this one as you can easily trace their free templates! All it took was a steady hand and black paint pen and I was able to add these designs onto glass jars that I painted.
So which of these Halloween parties were you favorite?
