In NJ Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated the first week of May and just a month later it’s the last day of school! I tend to gift the teacher some of their favorite candies (ask the kids what they are, they really do pay attention!) for this week in May and save the bigger gift basket of goodies and a gift card for the end of the year gift.

This year, when asking my 4th grader what candy her teachers liked, she said KIT KAT! So with just a little color inspiration from the package, I created a “You Deserve a Break” printable tags to pair with these crispy chocolatey treats.

I made my You Deserve A Break candy gift using red and white polka dot popcorn containers that I filled with a cellophane bag of Kit Kat bars.

Trim the tags to size and have your kids write their teacher’s name at the top and their name at the bottom. This is especially helpful if they have more than one teacher appreciation gift to give their teachers or educational staff that week.

If you end up making this for your kid’s school, please tag me as I always love to see the creative containers and ways people use my printables to gift their special gifts!
