If you’re not on Bloglovin’ yet, you’re missing out! As a new mom who spends much of her day nursing, apps like Bloglovin’ have really kept me up to date with my favorite blogs while I’m busy feeding my little peanut. With Bloglovin’, you follow your favorite blogs and it creates a feed with their latest content. This is not related to any social media the blogger uses, but the actual content they put out on their blog.
Recently, I saw this post from Moxie Fab World in my Bloglovin’ feed, and I was completely inspired to step up to the challenge!
After seeing the first photo in Cath’s challenge with the pink and gold combo, I went ahead and pulled out pink and gold materials from my own stash. And let me tell you, I dug deep into my stash, finding some items which are over ten years old! They needed to be used!
Once daddy came home to have some daddy/daughter bonding time, I had some ME time in the craft room and finished three cards for the challenge:
Each card used different techniques or themes, which I always love for my card collection!
First, I went for my staple “punch collage” style card I often make for my challenges and used this embossed sticker set from Martha Stewart Crafts.
Then I used some layered punch shapes to create this sympathy card.
Lastly, I mixed and matched patterns to create this collage design. I really like the “happy day” theme as it can serve many different card giving occasions!
Thanks again for another inspiring challenge, Cath!
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Martha Stewart Crafts, Paper Adventures, K&Company | Embellishments: Martha Stewart Crafts, Nostaliques, Heidi Swapp, Sticko | Punches: EK Tools
Update:
The below card was submitted by none other than SOTD loyal supporter and fellow crafter, Allie, who used my Hugs card as inspiration for her own version!
I feel so honored that it inspired you! Love the colors, Allie! Great job :)
