At a certain age, birthdays not longer need to have a big party involved nor do you need to provide a party favor at the end of it. As my girls turned 11 and 9 this year, it may be one of the last joint birthday parties we have but one I still wanted to include a simple party favor token.
Claw clips are back as a big trend for this age and I found this bulk pack of 12 flower claw clips on Amazon that fit the bill of an affordable but useful accessory vs just a piece of junk you get at other parties.
I designed this cute cardstock holder as a way to display the flower claw clip element in a playful way.
Cardstock Flower Pot Holder Supplies
- Flower Pot SVG Cut File
- Cardstock (I use brown and a light purple)
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut Blades (fine point, scoring wheel)
- 2 Way Glue
There are three parts of this flower pot design. When purchasing this listing you not only receive a ZIP file of the svg and other file elements, you’ll also get step by step instructions in a pdf to help set up your document in Cricut Design Space and designate components for scoring vs cutting.
Once cut, scored and assembled, a 3D flower pot holder is created, where the clip is held in by the top flower pot piece.
The front of this design includes a little banner piece which can easily be personalized with a message with a pen in Cricut design space, or by hand, like my girls did.
On party day we were able to set them up on the table and everyone could choose which flower claw clip they wanted as their party favor!
