It is my pleasure to introduce you to this fun Trunk or Treat theme of Trick-Fil-A, of course, a play on the popular fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A. See how to easily put together this Halloween theme using a few crafted components and by shopping your home!

Our school has always hosted a trunk or treat event, but we were usually not able to attend due to a sports conflict. This year the date seemed to be free and since both my girls are both in the same middle school, we signed up to host a car to give out some treats. One of my crafty besties, Tara, and I shopped my home, my stash of party supplies, and my Halloween decor along with a Pinterest sweep and we were able to create this Trunk or Treat theme for under $20.

Sure, you can BUY some cute trunk or treat kits from Amazon, but that is not our game. We LIKE to craft!

Supplies:
- Trick-Fil-A SVG Cut File
- Cow Print Cut File
- Red Brick Backdrop (taped onto a piece of cardboard) (Similiar)
- Foam Boards – 1 white, 1 black
- White Artificial Pumpkin
- Adhesive vinyl – red, white
- Heat Transfer Vinyl – White, Black
- T-shirts – Red and White
- 2 Skeletons
- Red Table Cloth
- Red Bowl

I whipped up a Trick-Fil-A sign to be hung at the top of the car using red adhesive vinyl, my Cricut machine and a piece of white foam board from the dollar store. I also created a “Eat More Kandy” sign on a black foam board piece, playing off the popular Chick-Fil-A slogan of “eat mor chikin”.

Along with our bestie Amy, red shirts with white iron on vinyl were an extra touch to match our car’s theme on the trunk or treat day. Our 2 skeletons also sported DIY white t-shirts covered in black iron on vinyl cow print patches.

We also grabbed a white pumpkin from Michaels, added the red chicken head logo and surrounded it with more black cow print patches using adhesive vinyl. Most of the kids got excited and just read it as “Chick Fil A” and one kid even asked us if we worked there!

We borrowed some lights from a friend at the car next to us as we didn’t really think of this night time aspect of the trunk.
If you end up remaking this Trick Fil A theme inspired by ours, please tag me as I’d love to see your version!!
