A while back I styled and shot a party setup for the Avengers license.
The line includes a mix of plates, cups and decorations featuring many of the characters from this series. I needed some sort of baked good for the party shoot but the line didn’t include any sort of cupcake toppers. I decided to make my own superhero cupcake toppers from cardstock!
Superhero Cupcake Toppers:
- Cricut Maker
- Cardstock (I made these with white, red, yellow, blue)
- Superhero Cupcake Toppers SVG
- Toothpicks
- Dimensional Foam Adhesive
- 2 Way Zig Glue
- Scotch Tape
The great news about this superhero cupcake topper design is that it’s pretty generic so it can be used for LOTS of different superhero themes! You can create and cut the superhero phrases from any combination of colors so it can easily blend into your party theme.
The key to making these pop art style superhero cupcake toppers really stand out, is the dimensional foam adhesive I recommend using when assembling them. It allows the layered phrase stand out and give that true superhero vibe!
