If you’re already a fan of marshallows and popcorn, you’re going to love this dessert that combines the two! With the help of a few strategic chocolate chips, these popcorn balls are easily transformed into your favorite game full of fancy feet.

Pop 6 cups of popcorn. I prefer to air pop mine and have had this machine for 8 years now!

I always make my marshmallow covered treats over the stove but you could easily adapt this recipe for the microwave. Melt 4 tbsp butter then melt one 4 cups of marshmallows. This is NOT the whole 10 oz bag. (Tip: If you ever want to make these in a different color, this is the step to add the food coloring!)

Once fully melted, turn off the stove and add the air popped popcorn. Use a wooden spoon to fold the popcorn in a little at a time.

Pour the mixture onto your tabletop lined with wax paper and allow to cool slightly.

Once cooled enough to be handled, spray Pam spray on your hands. Yep, it’s a messy food craft!

Grab a handful and use your hands to mold into a ball shape. This recipe actually made 9 balls that fit into cupcake wrappers.

Once mostly cooled, stick a few strategic chocolate chips into the ball to mimic the black parts of the soccer ball.

These look cute and are easy to display in a cupcake wrapper so keep your size in mind when forming.
