Our elementary school doesn’t allow for any edible treats to be passed out for Valentine’s Day and since she has many of the same kids in her class each year, I find it a personal challenge to come up with new designs that are cute and something I can showcase for my etsy shop!
When surfing around on Oriental Trading’s website, I spotted these fun “large” (1.25″) Smiley Face erasers and thought they’d be perfect for a fun Valentine’s printable gift! (Or these 1″ ones on Amazon seem like a similar design and size!) When asking my 9 year old for ideas on a cute printable for it, we brainstormed and came up with this t-shirt idea using a punny saying. You can see her cute little sketch on the photo above.
And this “Our Friendship CANNOT be erased” printable is the look we ended up designing together. She loved being able to help me choose a font and colors, making sure they were pretty gender neutral for the 25 kids in her class.
They can easily be cut with a craft knife and ruler or scissors and there’s room on the right hand side to sign your name for your classmates.
I added the smiley face erasers to the printable using a foam adhesive circle to make it dimensional and fun!
